What is a Fire damage repair and restoration job? Remember the movie “The Towering Inferno”? Well that’s not it. Most jobs are usually something like a pot catching fire on the stove and wrecking the microwave and causing smoke damage. Other things could be that lightning caused some singe marks somewhere in the house and burned the inside of the fuse box.

Of course things can get worse. Remember heat rises so more damage can happen to the upper floor or ceiling area. This would be a bigger job and take more time to repair. Make sure your insurance has coverage for temporary housing if you should need it.

The main thing here is to say “Don’t Be A Hero”. It is best to get out of the house and let the firemen do their job rather than to get hurt.
